Jump Rope For Heart
For Jump Rope For Heart I participated in our hall. Our school turn our school hall into a gym and we used it to get awareness of Jump Rope For Heart. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

Evacuation
Wind rushed by rapidly. “Mum why is wind the going so fast?” Tom asked.
“I don’t know why?” replied Mum. Suddenly the T.V had a news alert.
“This is Channel three news, there is a Tornado alert, three Tornadoes are expected to hit.” Darkness moved in, the sun’s light was swallowed up by the clouds it was clear the tornados were going to hit soon!
Car alarms went off in a high pitch, ringing in people’s ears. A tornado was in the north. Tom inquired. “Is that a Tornado in the north Mum?”
“It is!” Mum replied in horror.
“Sure it could be worse right?” “The other Tornadoes aren’t here.” stated Tom trying to shed some light on the situation. Tom slowly strode to the south in an attempt to confirm.
“Look there is no other torna.” Tom stood there astonished and scared of the sight of two Tornados coming from the south east. Mum asked while walking to Tom. “What is it Tom.”
“The the two tor__tor,nados.”
“Oh no Dad works at the factory it is right in the line of the tornado.”worried Mum told.
“Dad’s in trouble, real trouble, what can we do?” replied Tom. Suddenly.
“This is Channel 3 News, authorities have started to evacuate Ranville. All three tornados have hit, seventeen people are confirmed dead in the wrath of the tornados, one of the tornado's is dangerously near Cerstecs factory and evacuations are underway.”
“Oh no.” wept Tom in deep grief. As the news of a death toll rising it got slimmer for Dad to be alive, evacuations were starting to happen but lots of evacuations had failed. The town was left empty and devastated. Half of the town was in the underground evacuation centre.
As the was flooding in more evacuations were failing.”Mum is Dad ok”. Tom asked. Mum didn’t answer because she couldn’t guarantee Dad was ok.”Mum is Dad ok Mum are you listening” Tom screamed. “Look I can’t guarantee anything we can only hope.” replied Mum.
“Dad.” Tom yelled in enjoyment. Tom sprinted up to Dad. Dad was limping slowly with a broken leg. A smile suddenly lit up his flag.
“What happened Dad” asked Tom.
“I just made it out in time I was able to find A evacuation group.” replied Dad.
“We’ve lost everything though.” Mum replied.
“It could be worse.” replied Dad.

Should The Nz Flag Be Changed
I strongly believe that the New Zealand flag shouldn’t be changed. Firstly, there is no reason for the flag to change, most of the population don’t actually care. Secondly, it’s a waste of money. Finally, people have fought and served under the New Zealand flag.
Most of the population actually don’t care about changing the flag at the moment so why change it? At the first flag public change meeting that was a public meeting in Auckland only 13 people turned up! One of these people just came for the free cookies and that person was a comedian. Clearly the flag changing is unimportant to many New Zealanders.
Changing the New Zealand flag is a waste of money, 26 million dollars! Our country just can’t afford to waste money on flags when we have serious problems with housing and also with a struggling economy. We are really lacking in housing and have many homeless people. The money for the flag is needed for other causes not for a new flag.
Many people have fought under our flag and died, we just can’t forget our history and the people that have died for our country, our flag. If we replace our flag we are removing an icon to the country and where we sit in the British Commonwealth.
I strongly disagree with the New Zealand changing the flag. It was adopted 113 years ago in 1902 and I believe that we should keep what is already our internationally recognised icon.
